Palaya's SIGNATURE Owls have large round inlaid eyes, big flat feet and a beak that runs from forehead to chin.
They have an innocent spirit and a sense of wonder.
Just like the world famous Teddy Bear, Qiatsuq's Owls are so endearing you'd like to pick them up and give them a reassuring hug.
He holds up the other foot like a puppy playing "Shake a Paw".
Owls' feet are dangerous weapons.
Their talons are razor sharp.
Qiatsuq is at the top of the list of Inuit Owl carvers.
Each sculpture is lovingly and meticulously detailed.
The inlaid eyes are fashioned from caribou antler.
They contrast so beautifully against the stone.
