Masterpiece Carving!
PEG has been watching his waist line.
He is svelte and tall.
Not a typical rolypoly walrus lazing on a sun bathed ice floe.
Peg is balancing on his right foot while carefully kicking his left foot inward as he focuses on his "Walrus dance".
I love how Mikkigak has placed Peg's exquisite tusks front and centre as if he is dancing forward brandishing his tusks like weapons.
A carving which seems at first blush to be almost comical has now taken on a more serious tone.
But still, Peg has a gregarious side.
His deep dark green colour is rich and jewel toned.
I will bet you DO NOT have a Walrus carving like Peg in your collection.
