Masterpiece Carving! Enchanting Colour!
ALGAE's pastel green colour is the most pale pastachio green I have seen in an Inuit carving.
The colour conjures up a lightness, an innocence that boosts our spirit.
The connection between colour and the human brain is magical.
In a split second, we can feel an emotion or relive a memory all because of a colour we just saw!
Algae's inlaid orange-red eye and her vertical deeply etched tattoo on the back of her neck are details that give her dimension but also make her an individual.
I can't recall seeing these vertical grooves in an Inuit Loon.
Tattooing amongst the Inuit is a rich tradition.
They signify cultural identity and mark important life events.
Why not tattoo an Inuit loon?
Algae is soothing and calm.
She would like to be part of your life.
